MASS / HONG KONG

On Thursday 25th we celebrated the opening of British artist Mark Goss‘ debut Hong Kong solo exhibition here in the Artist Residence Gallery. We had a great turn out of Hong Kong art lovers who came to view Mark’s work on paper, cardboard, his signature work on used sawblades and a large wooden shack video installation.

The exhibition runs from now until November 14th when we will have a closing event, there will also be live painting events throughout the exhibition, please keep your eyes on our Facebook page HERE for more information about those projects.

Many thanks to our current artist in residence Stan Wu, editor and founder or Once Again magazine, for doing a great job of curating the show.

Mark Goss First Hong Kong Debut Show at ARHK

Artist Residence HK are pleased to present the solo exhibition of British artist Mark Goss.
Since graduating with a graphic design degree in his native London, Goss has lived and worked as an artist in Antwerp, Belgium and now after exhibiting throughout Europe he brings a whole new body of work for his Hong Kong debut.
In this exhibition, Goss continues in his exploration of environment, a subject which has been the basis of much of his imagery over the last few years. Through this series of mixed media works he has created work aimed at beautifying the normal by taking often overlooked aspects from within the Hong Kong environment and celebrating their aesthetic.
Goss’ recent body of work includes his signature use of found objects and varied surfaces, producing work on paper, wood, metal and whatever else he has been able to acquire.
